Inside this black stainless steel capsule are Moldavite + Iron Meteorite, bringing together two materials with some seriously wild cosmic history.
Moldavite formed roughly 15 million years ago when a meteorite struck what is now southern Germany. The impact melted terrestrial material and launched it into the atmosphere, where it cooled into the natural green glass we now know as Moldavite.
Iron meteorites, on the other hand, actually traveled here from space. They are composed primarily of iron and nickel and are believed to originate from the metal-rich interiors of ancient asteroid parent bodies formed during the early history of our solar system.
So basically…
One was created when space collided with Earth.
The other actually came from space.
