Moldavite is a rare natural green tektite formed roughly 15 million years ago after a massive meteorite impact in what is now southern Germany.
The force and heat of the impact melted terrestrial material and launched it into the atmosphere, where it cooled before falling across portions of Central Europe — primarily the area that is now the Czech Republic.
Humans have collected and worked with Moldavite for thousands of years, but today it has become especially known in the metaphysical world as a stone of rapid transformation and spiritual growth.
